Visual Thinking: for Design Colin Ware

This post is the first in a new "sketchnotes channel" on Core77 (www.core77.com/sketchnotes) that will explore the application of visual thinking tools in the worlds of design and creative thinking. Psychologist Rudolf Arnheim's 1969 book Visual Thinking posits that our current educational system's emphasis on “words and numbers” neglects an important form of reasoning. To support those efforts, we need a game-oriented visual designer to join our family and ensure our users have the most engaging, delightful experience with our product. This is the second post in the series guiding you through the 40 contributions to PowerPoint Design in 2009. I found a great quote this week from 'Creative and Design Expert' Keith Frankel at Hubspot: "The relationship between text and visual elements is not sequential in nature.
